Healing
our bodies and growing our spirits John
R Graham is a physician with special interests in epistemology
(how we know what we know), linguistics (including the power that
we can discover in changing words that inadvertently limit our
lives), cognition, and philosophy, especially in relation to cosmology,
biology at molecular and cybernetic levels and ecology.
To achieve
this he has maintained studies in biochemistry, microbiology,
immunology, neuroprotection and nutrition, and is in contact with
researchers into chronic illnesses including post-infection disorders,
and the chronic fatigue and fibromyalgic changes seen in many
people. He
is skilled in neuro-linguistic programming and the ethical use
of these skills.
He warms
to the paradoxes that life brings forth. He
greatly enjoys humour, storytelling and the use of metaphor.
He is committed
to the notion that we can continue our personal journeys to
an "entelechy," which is our highest level of personal
realization. His
methods involve conversational and collaborative styles of working
with people so that each person may
better decide how to take the most useful and safest steps towards
recovery. Health
matters are good examples of the importance of ongoing cooperation
and co-evolution of better and better solutions. He
lives life with a balance of reason and passion, and is committed
to environmental protection and care of ourselves and each other.
With
others he promotes the realization of integral medicine as described
by Ken Wilber.
